We, at The Emerald have been tremendously proud of what the blog has achieved since its launch in June 2015, we have seen reader numbers grow, social media interest spread and as ever good quality writing continue. We are looking to grow.
The Emerald would like people to apply for writing positions so that we can offer more varied and targeted content. We currently have two staff writers and a few casual contributors. We would like this to double over the next 3-6 months.
Key to what we are looking for are writers with unique takes on current affairs and a flair for writing in imaginative and entertaining ways. If you would like to write for the blog and have your voice heard please send us an example of your writing to mwvgcomms@gmail.com. Please keep the article under 1000 words and show off your talents.
